Search by Keyword
Input the keywords you want to search and press the "search" button.
*The keyword is recommended over 2 characters to get correct results.
Advanced Search
You can perform advanced searches using multiple keywords and operators like AND / OR / ANDNOT.
Condition | Format | Description |
---|---|---|
AND | keyword1 keyword2 | To find information including both "keyword1" and "keyword2", put a space between them. |
OR | keyword1 OR keyword2 | To find information including one or both of "keyword1" and "keyword2", put a capitalized OR between them. |
ANDNOT | keyword1 -keyword2 | To find information that does not include "keyword2", put a minus sign (-) in front of the word, without spaces between them. |
Phrase Search | "keyword1 keyword2" | To find information including the exact wording of "keyword1 keyword2", enclose the expression with double quotes ("). |
* Use " "(Space), "OR"(capitalized OR), "-", """(double quotation) with half-width characters. Only single-byte characters are accepted.
Applied Case
You can perform advanced searches using combinations of AND / OR / ANDNOT.
In this example, you can search documents includes both "keyword1" and "keyword2", excluding "keyword3".
Search by File Format
If you want to search for data of a specific file type (extension), enter "keyword filetype:extension". For example, you can search for PDF files written on keywords by entering "keyword filetype:pdf". This is a useful method when searching for statistical materials or research materials. Let's actually search for various types of files based on the keyword "consumer."
PDF file "filetype:pdf"
Adding "filetype:pdf" will display PDF files.
Excel file "filetype:xlsx"
Adding "filetype:xlsx" will display Excel files.
Word file "filetype:docx"
Adding "filetype:docx" will display Word files.
PowerPoint file "filetype:pptx"
Adding "filetype:pptx" will display PowerPoint files.
