Japan-France Symposium on Sustainable Fashion
～A new window for cooperation between Japan and France～

Sustainable fashion has become a new issue to be addressed both in Japan and in France.
France is a leading country in this field with its new regulation to prohibit businesses from incinerating and landfilling their clothing stocks.
In Japan the government and industries have been working together to tackle this issue. The behavior of consumers is a key to succeed in this challenge.
The symposium will be a good opportunity for both countries to learn from each experiences and is
expected to offer a new window for bilateral cooperation.
