Survey on awareness of new laundry labeling, etc.
In December 2016, the handling labeling for clothing (laundry labeling or symbol) was changed to the same symbols as international standards, and the Consumer Affairs Agency has been working to spread awareness through the preparation and distribution of publicity materials and the dispatch of lecturers. While the new laundry labeling seems to be gradually becoming more widespread, we conducted a survey in Tokushima Prefecture on the level of awareness of the new laundry labeling in order to clarify how well consumers understand and use the labeling.
