Consumer Safety Investigation Commission

The Consumer Safety Investigation Commission was established in October 2012.
The Commission investigates accidents affecting the life and health of consumers in order to determine the causes of the accidents and to find various preventive measures.
Based on the result of the investigation, the Commission makes recommendations and opinions to the Prime Minister and/or the heads of relevant administrative organs. The Commission submits investigation reports to the Prime Minister and discloses the reports to the public.
